Birmingham proofed barrel, block and blade front-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, and fitted with a bayonet lug at the muzzle, the action of flip open MkII pattern, the lock stamped with the crown "V.R" cypher on the tail and "1860 TOWER" to the centre, the hammer of Enfield muzzle loading pattern, regulation iron mounted full walnut stock with two barrel bands, the heel of the butt stamped with faint ownership or issue markings, complete with sling swivels, an old leather sling, rod missing, action seized, lock an old replacement, one lock screw missing, fading finish to barrel
